Bottle, Weedy quinine, strawberry, and caramel malt aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Moderately sweet strawberry, caramel malt, and mildly bitter ginger and hay flavor. Okay body. Luckily tastes better than it smells.

Bottle: Clear gold with a small white head. Grain, strawberry, ginger scent. Taste is barley malt and weak strawberry....ginger, but not much. Inoffensive, but remarkably bland.

Very yeasty nose, apple underneath. Cloudy amber, medium head, good lace. Strawberry, honey, hay. Medium body, frothy, easy carbonation. No ginger presence, but I made the mistake of having a very gingery beer right before this.

bottle - Light amber-gold pour, white head... it smells of strawberries but in an artificial way somehow. It’s sweet and light bodied, a drinkable but bland beer.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent amber with no head. Aroma is mixed ginger and strawberry. Med body. A bit fizzy. Flavor is clearly strawberry - almost fresh - followed by some nice mildly spicy ginger. The malt is subdued. Very refreshing beer.

Bottle. Smells like bile.... I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to drink this one. I’m a mom who raised two boys, and I learned to handle mud, worms, blood, poop, and some other gross things, but I never learned to handle vomit. My husband always had to handle that particular clean up duty. Slightly hazy honey gold with a small off-white head. Thanks to the smell I was only able to handle a few sips which were sour-bile-maybe strawberry flavor. All I could think about was the time when one of the boys was in jr. high and threw up his strawberry oatmeal after running a cross country meet. I tried to be objective, but this was obviously impossible and a drain pour for me.

So there are only 14 ratings and its from california, what gives? From a bottle it smells like mild strawberries. Looks like any other pale lager but perhaps a little more golden. Yes, a little like wheat ale with a tad of strawberry in there. Not sweet by any means. Taste becomes a little artificial at times, maybe even cloying. Strawberry flavor distract from the alky impact. Finish is a little fruity & medicinal at times, but not in a real bad way. There you have it.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a yellow-golden color with a large creamy yellow-white head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was tart and sweetish Frankenberry cereal. The flavor was tart Frankenberry cereal, pineapple, bread, artificial sugar and a hint of cactus. Medium length tangy, artificial sugar and Frankenberry cereal finish. Medium body. Eh.

Pour is a murky bronze with a small white head. Aroma is strawberry and not much else. Flavor is a sweet malty mess to start but a strawberry flavor is left on the tounge. This is a one trick pony with strawberry but not much else.
