Can: Hazy, gold/orange with a fluffy off-white head. Orange and wheat scent. Taste is the same, orange malt and wheat malt. Slight herbal bittering. Pretty sweet.....overall, ok, just nothing outstanding.

Can. Orange, wheat malt, and lime peel aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Lightly sweet citrus, wheat malt, and mildly bitter weedy grass flavor. Okay body. Okay - basic.

Refrigerated 12 oz. aluminum can poured into a weizen glass. Hazy golden with medium/small white head. Aroma is wheat esters, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is wheat esters and light herbal hops. More of a wheat ale than a German Hefeweizen.

12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 5/12/2016. Pours hazy golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pear, apple, pepper, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pear, apple, pepper, light banana/clove, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate yeast spiciness and light herbal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange zest, pepper, wheat, cracker, biscuit, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitter/spiciness as well. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and lightly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a nice American pale wheat ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, citrus/earthy hops, and moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.
