MashCraft celebrates our two-year anniversary with Crafted Mash Vol. 2. This Ryewine features orange peel and lemon peel to add complexity to the spicy rye malt and finishes with bitterness from gentian root, an ingredient normally used in cocktail bitters.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Bottle. Caramel rye malt, light gentian root, and orange/lemon peel aroma. Cloudy orange brown with nice light tan head. Moderately sweet orange caramel malt and moderately bitter gentian/hay flavor. Good body. Hides its strength very well. Very nice.

Bottle: Clear, amber-gold with a tall, off-white head. Rye, caramel aroma. Flavour is sweet, lightly spicy rye malt, toffee malt. A nice, spicy, herbal heat. The alcohol is well hidden.....rich and smooth.
