Oak-aged Sour Black Ale. Our oak-fermented and aged sour black ale brewed in collaboration with our friends from Woodfour Brewing in Northern California’s Sonoma County offers flavors of red grape skin with a mild oak character, plus a touch of tootsie roll. It has a strong, round acid that is finished with a subtle Brett character. This was fermented with our own mixed culture of yeast blended with Woodfour’s spontaneous cultures.

Draft. Wood, caramel malt, and hay aroma. Brown with minimal head. Mildly sweet brown sugar/caramel malt, moderately sour vinegar, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Good body. Good, straight forward beer.
