Barrel Aged American Sour Ale Fermented With Brettanomyces, Peach, and Pomegranate
Crayon Ponyfish is Short’s Peachy Pom Pom (American Sour Ale) aged in wine barrels with Brett. Dark copper-colored with a slight haze, Crayon Ponyfish has aromas of funk, oak, and tart fruit. At first sip this brew is mouth puckering sour. Flavors of barnyard funk, tart peach and pomegranate, and take turns dancing on the tongue before a dry finish.

Draft. Brett, peach, wood, and caramel malt aroma. Amber with moderate head. Lightly sweet peach, caramel malt, moderately bitter Brett, and moderately bitter hay flavor. Dry finish. Very nice.
