Growler: Depp, red-lit brown with a soapy tan head. Wood smoke, chocolate scent. Taste is a nice mild bitter.....ash, wood, chocolate malt, coffee. A bit of earthy/mushroom tone to it. Very dry...sessionable, and pleasant to drink.....good stuff.

Draft. Oak, chocolate malt, ash, and dry grass aroma. Black with moderate tan head. Mildly sweet chocolate malt and moderately bitter ash/dry grass flavor. Okay body. Solid.
