Tart Saison

As the steam rises, you catch a glimpse of your opponent from across the shower. Armed with nothing but a towel and minimal larping experience, you hear a voice inside of you whisper with sage wisdom, "First you must gather resources," he says, "and then, you must sedate the beast...Might I recommend a tart and refreshing dry-hopped saison?" Crossing Swords, an advanced form of battle requiring total concentration of the mind’s eye, can be the only answer.

On tap at the brewery. Fairly clear, light yellow appearance with a thin white head. Sour star fruit, guava, dank bud, pine, and pineapple. Somewhat tart. Tons of guava. Hop flavor is weird.

Sample at Daily Growler Powell. Cloudy yellow color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of fruit, yeast and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, fruit, hops and malt. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Above average overall.
