Pours clear golden with a thick white head. Aroma of vine and pine resin. Taste has topical notes, cherries, pine, and citrus. Palate has strong vine notes on the nose, lingering. Very close to a west coast IPA.

On draft. Pours a clear deep amber gold with a medium off white head. Nose is more traditional IPA-esque with a floral and citrus hop note. Watery mouthfeel. Tropical fruit, citrus flavour. Not very complex or deep.

Some citrus and an ok malt complex. Decent balance but nothing out of this world. Bitter end with some tang. Tap.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Andover Liquors. Appearance is lightly hazy (fine white particulates) light orange-yellow with minimal sparkle, finger+ width fizzy white head with poor retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is citrus over light grain background. Taste is sweet citrus along with earthy, somewhat resinous bitter. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, soft carbonation and mildly sweet but mostly bitter, crisp, dry finish. Overall, I would have liked the sweet to dominate the bitter and you only get so much complexity with a single hop, but enjoyable nonetheless.

On tap. Off white head and yellow color. A-orange. T-orange, a slightly biting hop, some grain, a bit thin.

Bottle. Orange, mango, caramel malt, and pine/grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with giant white head. Moderately sweet orange caramel malt and mildly bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Okay body. Kind of boring - think the IBU estimate is a bit high.

Bottle: Clear, bright gold with a quick white head. Grapefruit, orange scent. Moderately sweet orange malt, grapefruit juice....a hint of lemon/pineapple. Tasty, but quite sweet. Drinks incredibly lightly for the ABV.... and 85 IBU ?.....8.5, maybe.....punctuation is important.

Copper coloured body with a very large, eight centimetre tall off-white head that doesn’t really fade at all. Aroma of sort-of funky hops with some earthy, yeastie, bready notes, but the hops show some bitterness and citrus fruit, but not much. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy and earthy flavours from the malt and the hops, but some stale hops are present along with a lot of effervescence. Aftertaste shows more of the hop notes, but this time they are balanced out by some sugars and then ending with some watery flavours. Overall, a decent beer at best - this shows too much funkiness and not enough hop complexities - the hops there (there isn’t a ton) show more earthiness than citra hoppiness. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from GAT Beer in [NorthEast] Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on 02-July-2016 for US$2,75 sampled in my hotel room in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a few hours later on 02-July-2016.
