A Belgian Style ale that’s very pale and cloudy in appearance due to it being unfiltered and the high level of wheat that’s used in the mash. Always spiced, generally with coriander, orange peel and other spices or herbs in the back ground. The crispness and slight twang comes from the wheat and the lively level of carbonation. Often referred to as "white beers" (witbieren) due to the cloudiness / yeast in suspension.

Sampled from the tap at The Rigby. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has wheat and a bit of banana and clove underlying. Flavor is full of slightly earthy wheat and supported by light clove and banana notes.

Bottle. Lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and hay aroma. Clear golden yellow with small head. Mildly sweet lemon, coriander, wheat malt, and mildly bitter hay flavor. Okay body. Decent but flavors are blunted - not very crisp.
