Pour is a copper with an average white head. Aroma is an overpowering caramel malt. Not a bad thing but it overpowers any hops. Flavor is again more malts than hops with an extremely bitter aftertaste. More of a British style IPA ’mI guessing or hopeing but I did not care for this to much.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel-amber color with a huge foamy yellow-white head that lingered and produced great lacing. The aroma was dry and bitter with moderately strong grapefruit, pine and orange elements. The flavor was sweetish and bitter with notes of grapefruit, floral hops and perfumey hops with light touches of caramel and bread. The finish was long, dry and bitter with lingering grapefruit and perfume. Medium body. Decent.

Mango and rosehip aroma, with a caramel undercurrent. Clear copper, thin yellow head. Modest flavor of marigold, some tea notes, lght astringency. Good balance. A little ashy in the finish. Nice english style IPA.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear golden amber with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention and lacing. Big citrus hops in the aroma with some caramel. The taste is bitter citrus and herbal hops with some faint malty notes in the finish. Medium bodied. Interesting, but not well balanced.
