Bold yet approachable, this Tropical IPA is dank and resinous and packs the flavor of a high octane beer in a more sessionable 6.2% abv package. Aromas and flavors of tropical fruits dance wildly over your palate before a splash of juicy bitterness washes them away.

12 ounce bottle at Sobelman’s, 8/12/16. Murky orange, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of herbal, citrus, tropical hops, pale malt. The taste is herbal, piney hops, pale malt, mild citrus. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness. First beer as a Wisconsin resident!

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear copper orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a good amount of grass, some pine and a light grain backbone. Flavor starts with grass but has growing pine that lingers and a light grain backing.

This is some beer. Aroma’so fresh hope, mint, bit of malt. Flavor’s similar to nose, fairly dry, bitter, but the freshness of the hops off sets the bitterness. Great chewy body. Good finish.
