Funky House is a product of mixed culture fermentation featuring Central State’s house Brett culture and a Belgian Sacch strain from a fabled Indianapolis brewery who specializes in Belgian beers. Notes of overripe tropical fruit and barnyard funkiness. Allowed to condition for 6 months to fully develop the Brett character.

On tap at Hopcat Louisville. Pours a clear yellow gold with medium frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is funk and lemon zest. Medium body, oak, funk, light dry finish, good.

Draft. Horse blanket, lemon, biscuit malt, and hay aroma. Pale yellow with minimal head. Lightly sweet lemon malt and lightly bitter grass flavor. Body on the light side. Straight forward.
