12 oz bottle. Pours a hazed gold with a white head. Fresh grapefruit and orange citrus aroma hinting at more tropical fruit flavors. Flavors lean more toward grassy hops, some biscuity malt. A bit of honey.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orangish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of sweet citrus and flora with a light sweet grain backbone. Flavor combines sweet citrus and earthy pine with a bit of an earthy and sweet grain backbone.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 11/13/2014. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate bready malt balance; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, floral, grass, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, pineapple, mango, lemon/orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate bready malt balance; with a nice crisp malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Very bright and fairly dank on hops in the flavors and aromas. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent American pale ale style. All around great complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate bready malt balance; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.
