Can from Tavour. Pours hazy orange gold the clears quickly with a slight white head. Aroma of agave/mezcal/tequila sorts of things. Some yeast/spice notes. Really engages the nose. As the glass hits the mouth it suggests the yeast/spice of a hefeweizen. Flavor is the aroma, with yeast/spice, some lightly musty wood notes, and brown sugar. Smooth and relatively subtle.

12oz can pours out dark golden copper topped with a white head. Nose is nice sweet malts belg yeast spice notes and some barrel. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts pitfruit belg spice and the mezcal notes.

12oz can from Tavour. Dark golden pour with a light haze, wispy head. Aroma is lime, caramel, fruity, dried apples. Hard to place. Taste reveals more of the tripel characteristics before succumbing to the mezcal barrel, with caramel, smoky notes, apple. Interesting.

Never had mezcal I think or at least memorably, agave sweetness though is clear, hints of Belgian sweetness as well on the finish. Damn smooth 9abv though.

Draft: Cloudy, yellow with a small white head. Aroma of Mezcal, apricot.... Taste is grain malt, peach/apricot, mescal, lime. More of the barrel in the nose than in flavour.... Not bad at all.

Draft. Mezcal, lemon malt, and straw aroma. Hazy golden yellow with small head. Mezcal, citrus malt, and moderately bitter herbal grass flavor. Good body. Not sure how much I liked the mixture - at times it tasted oxidized but think it was just the combination.
