Legend has it that the term Hoosier originates from tavern owners sweeping up the sawdust covered bar floor the morning after a rowdy fight, holding up a piece of human flesh, only to proclaim "whose ear"?

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a clear amber red with a yellowish tan head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has notes of earthy grains and earthy bread with some straw backing. Flavor has a combination of grain and bread with a bit of hay and straw underlying.

Growler: Clear, copper-red with a small beige head. Toffee, a bit of berry in the aroma. Taste is toffee malt, grain .... Steady herbal bitter.....and a cumulative alcohol presence towards the finish. Smooth, though.....pretty good.

Crowler. Buttery toffee malt, hay, and alcohol aroma. Copper color with small head. Sweet butter toffee malt and bitter hay/quinine flavor. Decent body.
