tap at the Indy brewpub - Pours black with a small tan head. The aroma is mostly chocolate malt with some roastiness. The flavor is sweet with lots of chocolate, some roast malt, and a little soy. Roasty, chocolate notes linger in the finish. This is good but for my favorite style it's underwhelming.

Draft: Black with a short tan head. Dark chocolate, roasty aroma. Coffee, bitter chocolate malt and ash taste. Very solid.....strong and nicely bitter.

Draft. Wood, chocolate malt, and dry grass aroma. Black with small head. Sweet lightly earthy chocolate malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Very nice.
