Wild Range India Pale Ale

Bottle. Perfume, citrus malt, and orange peel aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Sweet perfume-y orange malt and moderately bitter herbal orange peel flavor. Decent body. Bad.

Bottle: Clear, light amber with a thin white head. Bready, lightly perfumed scent. Taste is watery.....caramel malt, floral hops, bitter grain....cardboard. Cool label art.....not so cool beer.

Clear light copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin, single centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of metal, light hops, a touch of malt and very little else. Light-bodied; Strong metallic hoppiness at first with a touch of malt and some light nuts and earth, but not much else to speak of - some caramel perhaps. Aftertaste shows the mild hops up front, with very low alpha acids, then a bit of the sweetness and finishing with some the cardboardie malts. Overall, not so good, but that was to be expected - not an IPA for sure, and not worth purchasing, even for $2 a bottle! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Shopper’s Food Warehouse in Manassas, Virginia by my brother-in-law - Thanks Andy, sampled at home in Washington on 06-January-2016.
