Bottle: Clear, dark amber with a thin, creamy tan head. Aroma is faint...ginger, caramel, grain malt. Taste is sweet, caramel malt, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, molasses. A bit thin, but not a bad effort at all.....lives up to it’s deScription.

Deep brown coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of super spices showing of course ginger, nutmeg, malt, coriander seed and quite a bit of brown sugar. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours, but the spices show through way stronger with only a little earthiness and alcohol - this is all about the malt and especially the spices. Aftertaste has a slight balance of sweetness and earthiness from the malt, but the spices persist along with some caramelised sweetness. Overall, a nice beer that shows a ton of spices and finishes out well-balanced with a good deal of malt and spices. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased by a hockey teammate on 02-March-2015 - Thanks Ken, sampled after a hockey game.

Pours from a bottle a light copper. Sort of a flat, one-dimensional spiciness, not much ginger that I can detect, certainly not anything like gingerbread. A disappointment.

Draft. A- Cinnamon, cloves, spices, nutmeg, ginger, bready, malty. A- Amber color, clear liquid, off white head. T- Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, lots of spice. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- A lot of spice in this one. One of the best Blue Moon’s I’ve had as well. Cinnamon and nutmeg are exceptionally strong on the nose and palate. A good Christmas time beer.

Brown color. Kind of a messy aroma and flavor; no real gingerbread flavor; some sugar, but I am not picking up much in the way of spice.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange to brown color with a one finger white foamy and bubbly head that dissipated within about a minute leaving a light lacing trickling down along the sides of the glass.
The smell had gingerbread up front with a decent cinnamon and vanilla invading slightly.
The taste was mainly sweet and slightly spicy drawing in some of the bready notes to balance.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation gave off a decent harshness but managed to be somewhat tame.
Overall, much better than some of the other blue moon varieties. Definitely do - able.

bottle - Clear amber pour, one finger head... it smells of caramel and spice. The flavor is of sweet caramel malt, spice, ginger... yeah, it’s pretty much what it says it is though I found the execution not much more than decent.
