Keg at the brewery, 5.3.22. Dark brown thin fizzy tan head. Aroma of roast, oats, dark chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, green hops, oats. Nutty.

Growler: Pours black, with a short tan head. Smoky, dark chocolate, oatmeal scent. Taste is lactic, almost tangy, chocolate malt, oats, cream. Light, but full-flavoured.... Pretty good.

Draft. Lightly smoky/lactic oatmeal and chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown with small head. Sweet oatmeal/chocolate malt flavor. Lightly bitter dry hay finish. Pleasant, easy drinking.

Draft. Light sweet roasty chocolate malt aroma. Black brown with a large tan head, creamy lacing. Sweet cola-like and roasty malt flavor. Body on the light side of medium, moderate carbonation. A bit light for the style.
