A schwarzbier is a black lager from the Bavarian region of Germany. This beer is has a light to medium body and is dark brown to jet black in color. While soft coffee and toasted flavors are allowed there should be no aggressive or pronounced roasted flavors. Bitterness is soft but noticeable from noble hops in the finish. Some equate this to a black Pilsner.

Draft. Grainy toffee malt and straw aroma. Dark brown with large head. Lightly sweet toffee malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Decent body. A bit underattenuated.
