Regular IPA? It’s anything but. Chocolate malt and UK hops give this beer a brown, malty profile with an earthy bitterness. Tack on a few months in Heaven Hill whiskey barrels and the result is, well, top-notch.

Growler: Brown with a red tint...short beige head. Mild bourbon, cola, chocolate scent. Flavour is chocolate malt....increasing bourbon notes...fairly substantial herbal/peel bitter. It certainly develops some IPA traits the farther you go.....not bad.

Bottle. Bourbon, chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Brown with small head. Sweet bourbon, chocolate malt, and moderately bitter grassy grapefruit peel flavor. Body a bit light. Decent balance.
