(On label) Born and raised in Nashville, AmericanaFest is a medium-bodied authentic mixture of handcrafted and heartfelt notes, just like Americana Music. The Americana Music Association advocates for the authentic voice of American Roots music around the world. (A smoked IPA - At 62 IBUs, it’s hoppy but not overly bitter. Built around the same smoked barley that the brewery uses in their Sue beer, Americana has a very clean finish. First you get hops, then comes the smoke, then comes a little bit of malt at the end.)

Thanks for the bottle, Tim.
This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was an amber/copper sort of color with a level sheet of white foam for a head. Dissipated slightly to leave some light stringy lace.
The aroma had some caramel/toffee maltiness up front over some light bacon/smoke-like feature. Some peach/apricot sweetness and then a brisk whiff of sweet wood.
The flavor was mainly sweet with the malts, bacon and peach/apricot thing going on. Aftertaste was the same. Finish was somewhat sticky.
The palate was almost medium bodied, seemed to sit just a touch under. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. Fairly smooth along my tongue.
Overall, is there supposed to be an IPA in here I heard? Yeah, I missed that memo, but that meaty thing is there like a normal American smoked beer. Smoke is fairly weak, though.

Bottle: Clear, dark amber with a soapy beige head. Slightly vegetal, caramel, citrus scent. Taste is orange/grapefruit-peel, caramel malt. Not very smoky at all....though there is a little more in the aftertaste. Works ok as an APA, maybe, but nothing memorable in the "smoked" category.

Bottle. Light smoke, lemon peel, malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with large off-white head. Lightly sweet citrus malt and moderately bitter lemon peel flavor. Very light smoky finish.

Bomber from Libation Station, 4/10/15. Clear amber, large foamy white head. Good retention. Aroma of smoke, nuts, toasted malt. The taste is caramel malt, herbal hops, hints of smoke. Thin bodied. Meh.
