Our pilsner is a more traditional example of the world’s most popular beer style. The German medium-bodied lager is brewed with domestic pilsner malt & Hallertauer Hops for a crisp, hoppy flavor.

Draft. Light berry and barley malt aroma. Moderately yellow with moderate head and effervescence. Sweet berry, barley malt, and mildly bitter herbal hay flavor. Medium body. Not bad - very fruity for a pilsener.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a good amount of earthy bread and earthy German hops. Flavor is similar with earthy grain and bread up front with earthy musty German hops coming out in the finish.

Sampler @ the brewpub. It has a thick straw color with a thick head and a sticky lacing. Aroma is lightly lemon with a herbal hops, white bread, and some mineral malts. Taste is heavier with a sweet herbal hop finish. Its a good pils but it just doesn’t pop and not vibrant enough in its hoppiness. A pils is something that needs that "crisp" character, which is missing here.
