A true-to-style interpretation of a historic German beer style. We’ve Americanized it by including a dose of wheat malt and fermenting it cold to deliver a smooth, easy drinking beer while serving Griffölsch in 19 oz glasses instead of 7 oz glasses, because we do everything bigger in America, and you look thirsty.

Draft: Hazy yellow-gold with a frothy white head. Grainy, wheaty aroma. Taste is barley malt, a little lemon..... Not overly Kolsch-like....just plain "beery"....like a pale lager... Decent, but misses the mark.

Draft. Orange, lemon, and biscuit malt aroma. Pale yellow with moderate head. Sweet lightly fruity grainy barley malt flavor. Not bad - more like a typical cream ale though.
