Near black pour. It smells of roast malt and coffee. The flavor is sweet with roast malt, coffee, and chocolate. Medium bodied. Overall it's pretty good.

Bottle from Belmont Beverage South Bend Ave. Pours black with a small offwhite head. Aroma is sweet chocolate, coffee, cocoa. Flavor is quite sweet chocolate, cocoa, coffee, cream. Tastes like a frappuccino-type drink. It's not bad, but it's perhaps too sweet.

From a 12 oz. bottle. Pours black with a scant off white head. Aromas are of coffee and licorice. Flavors are sweet milk chocolate. Mouthfeel was pretty flat with little effervescence. Pretty underwhelming.

Draft: Rubied-black with a tan head. Chocolate, brown sugar scent. Taste is chocolate/coffee malts, a hint of smokiness,,,sweet and milky. Very, very good.
