Bruin bier met weinig schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is zoet waarbij banaan overheerst. Redelijk goede Dunkelweizen.

50 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Hazy brown with an off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some banana. Taste is bittersweet. Body is rather thin. An okay dunkelweizen but there are far better examples out there.

From old tasting notes. Amber gold color. Creamy beige head. Mild spicy wheat malt aroma. Tangy citrus wheat malt flavor. Some toasted malt character is evident. Good malty wheat finish and aftertaste.

Hatalmas, tartós hab, barna szín, szűretlen. Búzás, banános, szegfűszeges, korianderes illat, némi karamelles vonással. Könnyed búzás, banános, szegfűszeges, korianderes ízvilág, enyhe, de határozott karamelles aromával. Közepes szénsavtartalom és enyhe keserű jellemzi. Frissítő, kellemes búzasör, de egy picit határozottabb test nem ártana neki.

Brown colour with light haze. Aroma and flavour have typical Weizen banana yeasty sweetness. This Dunkel version has a light toastiness and hint of caramel too.

Pours dark brown from the bottle. The aroma is about what you would expect for a dunkles Weizen -- yeasty, strong banana notes, roasted caramel. The roasted notes and the banana carry into the taste, which is sweet, bread like, and a bit nutty. The finish is short and remains sweet. All in all a solid Weizen, but nothing exceptional. A bit of spice, particularly in the finish, would raise the rating for me. Good stuff.

Bottle, Danke Stefan. Dark amber, offwhite foam. Strong clove aroma.Dry body, a bit fizzy. Minerally roast, grilled banana, dry spiciness, salty flat finish, actually somewhat moreish that way. Grilled peach retronasal.

Das dunkle von der größten österreichischen Weißbierbreauerei gibt es in den meisten Supermärkten Österreichs. Es ist ein einfaches Bier dieses Types mit einer überschaubaren Aromenvielfalt, die aber ganz gut passen. Bei dem Bier macht man nix falsches, aber es gibt wohl viele andere aromatischere dunkle Weizen.
