Ist naturtrüb und leuchtet im Glas kastanienbraun. Der Geschmack erinnert an Vanille-, Zimt- und Röstmalzaromen. Am Gaumen dicht und im Nachtrunk besonders würzig.

Draught at Biergarten in Tivoli. Slightly hazy amber colour with a creamy off-white head like. Fruity aroma with grasses, sweet fruits, banana, caramel malts. Slightly toasted notes. Taste is lightly sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with fruity hints and caramel malts. Okay Dunkelweizen.

Amber brown color with weizen-typical head, but the head dissipates quickly. Light and fresh bananas and spices, but really not too intense. Taste is also bananas, spices and caramel. Smooth Weizen texture. Super drinkable and very refreshing. A nice and easy Dunkelweizen.

Pours a hazy (dark) brown color, topped with an average tan colored head. Wheaty aroma, notes of bananas and nice caramel. Taste sweet, slightly wheaty and fruity, a bit of bitterness in the end. Spicy finish. I like it. Pretty nice.

Bottle at an Auto Grill near Melk. Pours brown with a beige head. Aroma of light spice and banana. Med body. Flavor matches aroma, plus some dark wheat. Good stuff.

Dark version of the popular Edelweiss Weissbier, with a rocky, thick, creamy, stable, yellowish head and dark amber to brown colour with ochre hue, cloudy. Agreeable aroma of cloves, chocolate, banana, cinnamon, apple peel, caramel, white pepper. Soft fruity taste with banana and red apple, sharpish, refreshing carbonation, middle phase malty with chocolate, wheat and yeast, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, finishing softly sweetish, not cloying, little hops. Exemplary Dunkelweizen and a good introduction to the genre: not too difficult, faithful to the style and relatively easily available.
