Bottle at Augustiner Bierhalle and Restaurant - Munich. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Crisp, biscuity malts in the nose, modest cereal. Light sweet flavor with some hay bitterness, faint grass, lemon rind, cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with more cereal, mild grassy and floral bitterness. Solid.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittler Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig, getreidig. Geschmack herb, grasig, minimaler würziger Abgang.

Flasche (33 cl) im Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt, Berlin. - Strohgelb, blank. Appetitlicher zitronig-grasiger Hopfenduft. Im Antrunk grasiger Hopfen, dahinter das ausgeprägte warme Malzaroma der Augustiner-Biere. Eher vollmundig, vielleicht auch wegen des vergleichsweise hohen Alkoholgehalts. Perlend rezent, sehr angenehmes Mundgefühl. Im Abgang schön grasige Bittere, leicht trocken; ausreichend bitterer Nachtrunk. - Recht ordentliches süddeutsches Pils - schade, daß es nur in kleinen Flaschen zu haben ist.

Bottle at Augustiner Beirhall munchen 23/1/14 Aroma is nice floral, lemon rind citrus and pils grains. Crystal clear yellow colour with a lasting white head. Aroma is a slight whff of parmessan cheese. Flavour is clean lemon with some grassy hop. Very drinkable.

Had this at Augustiner am Gendarmenmarkt, Mitte, Berlin, Germany Friday 15th November 2013 Absolutely stunningly crystal golden with a perfect white head, if was giving mark out 10 for looks this would get 11. This nose is subtle as is the taste. It is clean tasting with little barbs of bitterness but really refreshing, I really glugged at this, this is a moreish beer. Quite delicate at times, the hops show as does the malt but it is so well done, beer of the day. A8 A5 T8 P4 Ov16 4.1

Pils dobry i z ladna pianka. Orzezwiajacy goryczkowo wytrawny. Ale o lekkim posmaku, brak tu troche wiecej pelni i glebi smaku. Smukla buteleczka 0,33, ale jako styl Pilsa to plasuje sie bardzo wysoko wg mnie

330ml bottle @ Augustiner, Berlin Pours clear golden with a large foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops, buttery notes, bready malts and earthy notes. Taste is sweetish, malty and grassy with hints of butter. Finish is smooth, grassy and malty. Clean and tasty pils.
