Draft. Light cocoa and ash aroma. Black with nice tan head. Dry light chocolate malt and tree bark flavor. A nice session beer.

tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours near black with a lingering tan head. It has the expected roast malt aroma. It’s medium bodied with roasted chocolate malt that to me tastes a bit off. It’s okay.

Draft sample @ Ft. Wayne Oktobeerfest. Earthy coffee malt and ashy aroma. Black with a large tan head. Sweet chocolate, earthy coffee, and light ashy flavor. Body on the light side of medium, soft carbonation.
