Basement Beer Bar 010415. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is alcohol, hop, berries, malt. Flavour is alcohol, hop, berries, malt, pine, citrus, toffee. Full body. Nice beer.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It pours a hazy amber body under a dense two finger light beige head. Curtains. It has rather hoppy aroma, with pine cones and citrus peel, there’s a solid maltyness in the back. It’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated. The flavor has bitterness, pine cones and resins up front, with toffee-ish malts as a backdrop. Lasting, balanced finish. Nice. 150401
