Some drinks are hardly refreshing. That’s why we brewed Redd’s Wicked Apple to be refreshingly hard. With a big kick of flavor, it;s the perfect way to mix things up without the mixer.

24oz can picked up at Discount Liquors in Evanston
Clear dark golden with a small off-white head, no lacing. Aroma of ripe apples, sweet malts and plastic. Taste of ripe cooked apples, sweet, sugary with a tart, dry finish. Some hot alcohols
This reminded me of drinking a malt liquor with apple flavors.

10 oz. can, thanks to Jake. Pours a bubbly orangish brown, with a few bubbles, but no head. The aroma is red delicious, with a lot of caramel, cloves and other spices. Very sweet and spicy. Light to medium body, creamy, and surprisingly smooth. Overall, this is a nice apple beer. Good spicing and malt backbone. Not great, but reasonably tasty and approachable.

Can from Nugget Market in Woodland, CA. Pours dark gold with a very slight white head. Aroma is apple with a hint of solvent. Med body or so. Flavor is apple (no solvent or fusel oils) with a bit of sugar. It’s a bit acceptable. Not gonna drink it while there are better things around.

Tall boy (from Patrickctenchi - tried to buy me a regular and I told him "What the F*** Tenchi, get the Talls!). Apple juice and alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with moderate short-lasting head. Sweet apple juice and light malt flavor. Should give the flavored St. Ides a run for their money - at least I don’t detect any fusels.

Chilled 10 oz. aluminum can poured into a glass. Clear light amber with small white head. Aroma is sweet apple, medium body, low carbonation, and very little lacing. Taste is sweet apple with hints of alcohol. A little goes a long way.

10 ounce can from a Kroger. Pours a clear amber color with no head. Aroma of grainy apples and a metallic note. The taste is overly sweet apples, some graininess. Medium bodied, low carbonation, overwhelming sweetness. My teeth hurt. This is likely going to end up a drain pour, even at this small volume.

Not as terrible as it was in my dream last night. Dare I say, enjoyable?

24oz can. Pours a dark gold with minimal head. Aroma of sweet red apple. Taste is light sweet and medium tart. Green and red apple. Medium bodied with a sticky texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Pretty good. Actually, much better than I thought.
