Some drinks are hardly refreshing. That’s why we brewed Redd’s Wicked Apple to be refreshingly hard. With a big kick of flavor, it;s the perfect way to mix things up without the mixer.

Can. This one was the 6% version. Clear yellow in color. A few bubble, like soda. Taste and aroma was like apple Hi-C.

i'm always looking for another good cider / fruit beer, and this one doesn't disappoint. --- Beer merged from original tick of Wicked Black Cherry on 13 Dec 2024 at 18:44 - Score: 8. Original review text: I regret nothing. I mean, my reason is just to empty the beer fridge.

Sampled from a 10 oz can this beer poured a dark amber color with a large foamy yellow-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was egg white and apple juice the flavor was caramel, apple juice, yeast and a touch of medicine. Long finish. Medium body. Ok

tan gold, no head or sediment. i guess it smells like apples? oh jeez. this tastes awful. sugar, hard cider with a terribly fake cherry juice and raspberry flavor. gross.

Monstrous 24oz can from Food Lion. Pretty much exactly like the regular Redd’s Apple Ale, but with a slightly more candy apple sweetness to it. For 8% it’s refreshing. I’d hate to say I liked it, because it was way more sweet than I would have liked, but it didn’t have the metallic, fake taste that I was expecting. Slightly better than average, which is a feat here.

Can. Amber beer with no head. Apple and light fusel aroma. Apple juice flavor. Medium bodied. Refreshing. Apple juice and light alcohol lingers.

10 oz can. Thanks for this magical gift, brenn79. Pours clear copper with a quickly collapsing white head. Aroma is nice tart apples or apple candy, a la Jolly Rancher. Smells pretty good, let’s see how it tastes. Taste is tart apples, sweet apples, savory, boozy. No hop or malt content detected; doesn’t taste like beer, more like a higher ABV wine cooler. Smells good, tastes decent but I wouldn’t drink another one unless it was offered to me.

From a pounder can. Has slight aroma of artificial apples, tho it says all natural flavors. A pale brew with a slight brown tint. A medium heavy cloying sweetness, with no bitterness. Some tartness. A little over forward with the alky impressions, almost like its simply been added. Barely any co2. Not bad if you sip it. OK, what now red?
