Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, brownish, nice head. Starts strong-malty, intense yeasty, almost a bit too intense yeasty. Modest sourish, some fruity hints of apricot. Finish could be more balanced. Okay, not more.

Pour is a dark brown with a large tan head. Aroma is a nice caramel and sweet molasses. Flavor is caramel malt a little raison and brown sugar. Mouth feel is kind of thick with plenty of sweetness. Finish has a little dark fruit left on the tongue. Decent beer but a bit heavy at times.

Refrigerated 0.5 L bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours translucent medium brown with dark brown hightlights and big fluffy beige head which dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium/light carbonation, thin/medium body, and tart roasted malt aroma. Taste is tart roasted malt and some banana. More simple than most weizen bocks, and a little closer to a dunkleweizen. Wouldn’t seek this out again.

50cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours dark brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of wheat, malt and fruit with just a hint of alcohol. Sweet and fruity with a somewhat bitter finish. Very well balanced. Medium body. Nice and refreshing. (2012-08-11)

Dirt and banana nose. with subtle clove notes. Clear maroonish brown, thick tan head. Raisins, overripe currants, and plums are detected in precisely that order, with the impression of unripe bananas throughout. Earthy maltiness is there too. A little tart, if you couldn’t have already guessed. Walnut finish. Medium body, not heavy nor viscous at all. Alcohol is pretty well hidden, which leads me to question whether it is even a weizenbock at all, easily mistaken for a dunkelweizen. Very distinct transitions and almost has a Belgian feel. Very good.
