Yuengling® Summer Wheat is carefully brewed with a combination of wheat and barley malts. Hallertau hops and Bavarian-style top fermenting yeast deliver a thick, creamy head with overtones of banana and clove esters. This authentic German Weizen style beer, with a slight hazy appearance, concludes with a crisp finish.

Bottle, thanks for sharing! Pours a cloudy light gold with a white head that lasts through the beer. Aroma has lots of sweet grains with a hint of light fruit and clove. Flavor is similar, sweet grain and wheat with light spice.

@bus. Pours a light yellow appearance with a wrote head. Soapy, lemon, a touch yeasty aroma. Somewhat bitter surprisingly. Twangy lemon. Dull wheat flavor. Bleh.

12oz bottle at Philadelphia Airport. A slightly hazy pale amber pour with a thin white head; expected Hefeweizen aroma of yeast, wheat and banana; a grainy body with a pleasant banan taste; and a clean, crisp finish. Lacking the spiceness of some German examples, but very drinkable.

Draft: Lemon, bubblegum, clove nose with a base of banana bread. Cloudy amber, thick head, good lace. Banana and lemon on the front end, wheat bread on the back. Medium body, normal carbonation. Well, I’ll be damned. This was good and fairly authentic.

Draft at Sedona, Charlottesville. Pours a hazy orange color with a large creamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of wheat, spice, bubblegum, mild earth. The taste is wheat, strong bubblegum, scuppernongs, marzipan, candied banana. Thin bodied, soft carbonation.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours cloudy deep golden with small white head. Aroma is nice malty, medium body, medium carbonation, and some big bubble lacing. Taste is clove, banana, some spice, and some slightly ruff wheat. A nice surprise especially for the price point, but more like a double than a home run as far as wheat beers.

Not horrendous, though lacking conviction. Weak finish. Taste watery.
