bottle - Pours hazy gold and has a mild, grainy malt and yeast aroma. The flavor is sweet with grain, caramel, and maybe some herbals. There’s something off-tasting here. There’s little to no saison character and some off flavors that really don’t work well. Disappointing.

Bottle. Clear, deep golden body with a frothy white head, rapidly diminishing. Aroma of raw grain, pepper, vinegar, coriander, stale caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly tart. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Strong peppery taste, grainy. Tastes like a dusty, raw grained kolsch with pepper.

Tap sample @ Midwest SourWildFunkFest. Sweet white grape and light spicy aroma. Cloudy straw gold with a small dense off-white head. White pepper, funky barnyard, coriander, and fruity flavor. Light body, soft carbonation.
