Pours light orange from the bottle. Hazy. The foamy head eventually fades completely. Aroma is yeasty, a bit citric. Taste is sweetish up front with banana hints but rapidly delves into a citric, sour bitterness. Body is light to medium, moderate carbonation. Okay but not among my favorite Weizen.

Keg at the Head of Steam, Leicester. Golden, hazy with an uneven white head. Aroma of grass, bananas, hay, Horlicks. Tastes sweet with a drying hoppy bitterness. Quite rough and not very well balanced. Leads to a bittersweet finish with dried banana chips in the aftertaste. Not as keen on this as the other beers from this brewery I've tried. Still, it's drinkable.

Kalea Advent Calendar. Stereotypical sweet banana and clove aroma. A cloudy orange gold, topped by a thick fluffy white head. Light bitter, with a sweet and sour streak. Mashed banana, citrus and cloves. Somewhat low key. Medium bodoed but still feals a tad watery. Slick. Soft carbon. Long astringent finish. OK but these helle hefes always seem a bit underpowered to me.

Bottle at home in Beer Hawk advent calendar. No head, but some carbonation from a rather attractive deep golden beer. The nose was all yeast and sourness and the taste delivered this in spades. This wasn't the integrated sour flavour, this was loud shout in your face sour and it didn't do it for me. Not one to revisit.
