Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Draft @ Brewhaven. Earthy caramel malt aroma. Chestnut brown with a small beige head. Sweet caramel and light piney/citrus hops flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation. Lacked the roasty malty character and hop presence I associate with a black IPA.

Draft: Very dark brown with a puffy, off-white head. Caramel/cola scent. Sweet caramel with a mild hop bitter... Pine..sweet, nicely carbonated. Tasty.

Draft. Caramel malt and pine aroma. Brown with moderate head. Sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter orange peel/pine flavor. Very good.
