An India Pale Ale, Hair in the Mailbox is bright and hoppy at 6.3% ABV. Color is hazy golden with an off-white head. Aroma blends notes of malt, honey, tropical and citrus fruits, light floral tones and lemon zest. The palate is bursting with a blend of orange and pineapple from the hops and warm notes of pine. Body is medium with soft carbonation and both sweet and spicy. Finish is both dry and bitter with light resin and biscuit notes. Easy drinking and great for pairing with burgers or other greasy foods.

Bottle at home. The colour is clear light amber with a big light beige head. Aroma of pineapple, dry hay, herbs, grass, orange peel and grapefruit. Flavour of grapefruit, pine, orange peel and grass. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and bitterness. Fruity and well-balanced.

(Keg at Ølhus København, 20180724) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had canned peach, fruitiness and white bread. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, white bread, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. Too sweet and too much bread.

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, golden in colour and with a nice white head. Lacing. Citrusy aroma, lime and lemon zest, with herbal notes and a grassy touch, with some malts in the back. Bready pale malts in the back of the flavor, with citrus, grass and a herbal touch, and a decent bitterness. Full body, nice carbonation, and a piney, citrusy finish. Nice, but it lacks a bit on freshness. 180720

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Piney, grassy, hoppy aroma, pale malty background. Taste is bitter, citrusy and piney hoppy, notes of lemon, hints of grapefruit, pale malty basis with subtle sweetness. Solid, classic IPA with excellent road capability.

Botella 33 cl en el Lúpulo Feroz Oviedo 04..07..2018. (r85). Color amarillento claro velado con espuma blanca persistente. Sabores frescos con buena dosis de herbales y suaves cítricos. Suaves toques de levaduras y suaves afrutados. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber algo seco al final con suave amargo. Refrescante, bastante buena para repetir.
