Although widely known as the habitat of the classic "black bear", the mountains of North Carolina are also home to our extremely rare Brown Bear Brown Ale. Smooth caramel and chocolate notes dominate the first taste, and then a subtle dryness cleanses the palate just in time for another sip. This is a true, sessionable English-inspired brown ale.

Aroma: It has a malty aroma of roast, some caramel, and chocolate
Appearance: The pour is light brown in color, with a tan head, and some streaky lace
Flavor: Flavor-wise, it is lightly sweet, pretty clean, with a nice, balancing, light bitterness
Palate: It has a fairly smooth feel with a light body, but it is not watery
