Roast and a little caramel. A little coffee. Pours black woth decent head. Light bitter end. Tap at brewery.

On tap at New Albanian, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out toasted nuts and light caramel bready malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with overripe red fruits, caramel and bready malt. Light-bodied, with a bit of a messy flavour profile. Okay.

Draft. Deep amber body with a short, beige head. Aroma of chocolate, toasted grain, herbs, grass, nuts. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Malty taste of toasted grain and light chocolate. Hint of coffee.

Draft: Poured clear, deep red with a small, light tan head. Chocolate, coffee aroma. Taste is chocolate malt, nuts. Really good tasting.

Draft. Chocolate malt aroma. Dark chestnut with minimal head. Sweet chocolate malt and mild herbal flavor. Nice body. Very good dunkel.
