Bottle. Tart lemon and artificial berry aroma. Hazy rose with a moderate pink tinged white head. Tart lemon, sweet artificial berry, and light malty flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation. Surprisingly not as bad as I was expecting, and I could see this going down very easily on a hot summer day on the lawnmower.

While shopping at Giant Eagle market district I had a 2-3 oz sample of this from a littel kiosk. Decently fresh taste, does have that typical shandy feel to it and the berries are ever present. Not too bad over all and I found it quite refreshing. there was a little bitterness on the finish but nothing over the top.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky salmon-ochre color with a very large pink-white head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was tart and tangy lemon, berry, citric acid and artificial sugar. The flavor was tart and tangy artificial sugar, strong lemon, vague berry and turned dry and astringent on the finish. Light body. Interesting.

12 ounce bottle from a Kroger. Pours a hazy pinkish orange color with a large frothy white head. Decent head retention. Tart lemon aroma with hints of zest and berry. The taste is strawberry Starburst with a tart lemon finish. Faint hints of grain. It’s tasty, but in no way resembles beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy pinkish-orange hue with a medium collapsing white head that leaves lace. Aroma is very fruity, with the lemonade and berries both very prominent. Behind all the fruitiness is a pretty noticeable bland wheat ale base. Taste is sweet and tart, as expected; finishes salty and a little dry. Mouthfeel is nice and creamy and the body is pretty thin. This is a great summertime brew (why did they put it out as an autumn seasonal, I wonder?) and eminently chuggable.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours pink tinged amber with a slightly pinkish head. Smells rather like koolaid being mixed. It’s fairly thin. Tastes dusty. Flavor is mild lemon and mixed berry. Strange finish.

This is surprisingly good. Very refreshing on a hot summer day...and much better than the summer shandy. Very nice berry flavor. If I’m sitting outside when its hot, I could be pounding these. Not sure how it is going to do through the winter though.
