With a mix of American and British hops and a nice fruity nose from the use of Boddington London Ale Yeast, Ben describes Holly King as having a nice hoppy flavor and a subtle Malt back.

Cask. Clear amber body with an off-white head. Aroma of toasted grain, raisin, candy and spice. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Peppery alcohol in the finish. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of bready yeast. Unfortunately, the alcohol and bitter hops gang up on the flavors. Light tastes of caramel and cream.
