I wasn’t expecting much from this but overall its pretty good! From the start, poured from a bottle, it has a very attractive smell like a marshmello that caught on fire in a campfire, nifty. Pur is a nice as any stout, big black and a handsome brownish head. Tase uis smooth and friendly, very good. I was expecting an impy stout wannah be but this is well reserved and civilized. Yes, quite interesting an fun. Overall nice beer drinking experience. Pleasantly surprised!

Bottle. Mocha malt aroma. Opaque brown-black with minimal head. Lightly sweet dark chocolate, ash, and bitter herbal flavor. Medium body. Nice.

Tap at Trion. Creamy chocolate coffee aroma. Black brown with a small tan head. Raosty coffee, smoky peat, chocolate flavor. Light to medium body, a little light for the style.

tap - Pours very dark brown with a pleasant roasted coffee aroma. It’s sweet and roasted with mild bitterness, dark malt flavors, and a hint of that coffee. This full bodied, well balanced stout works extremely well. Try it.

Sample at The Heorot. Pours black with a medium thin tan head that diminishes steadily. Short stringy lacing. Aroma of roasted malt and coffee. Medium body with a roasty character and notes of coffee, malt and a bit of hops. The finish is malty up front with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Above average overall.
