Binny’s in Lakeview: pours hazy orange with a white head. Aroma is honey, funk, and hay. Taste is not too great. Kind of metallic finish. Light hops. Kind of wack honey taste. Meh saison. Not terrible but i chugged it because i didnt want to drink it.

22oz bomber. The honey comes through pretty well, nicely complementing the saison yeast. Pretty drinkable for 8.5%...I guess that’s because it is 6.5%. Pretty solid, the honey sweetens and smooths it out. Pretty enjoyable, respectable offering.

Location: Bottle at Nerd Beer Epic Weekend, 1/26/13

Aroma: The aroma is heavy yeasty, with plenty of spice/coriander, and some citrus
Appearance: It pours a cloudy darkish orange color with a small head and some light lace
Flavor: This one has a solid Saison flavor, with lots of Belgian yeast and spice flavor to it
Palate: The body is medium, it has a clean feel, a ton of carbonation, and a fairly dry finish
Overall Impression:  I thought this was a pretty solid Saison. It is probably not a top of style Saison, but it is quite good. I liked it. The best way I can describe this is clean, drinkable, and fairly fresh feeling.
