Alt, which is German for “old,” is a traditional ale especially popular in and around Dusseldorf. The bittersweet malt flavor is very pronounced with caramels and fruits as the dominant flavors. Tettnang and Hersbrucker hops balance the sweetness without being too assertive, and a fuller body and mouthfeel contribute to a longer lasting foam head.

Tap. Cherry/apple malt aroma - very nice. Amber color with small head. Slightly sweet orange/cherry malt flavor with a mildly bitter orange peel and herbal hops finish. Body a bit light. Very tasty - a great beer.
