Red-hued with spicy undertones and a delicious bite, Rye IPA is hoppy yet easy-to-drink. Rye IPA is the first rye ale ever brewed at Bloomington Brewing Company. We combined rye to our top-grade barley malt prior to adding generous amounts of Nugget hops to the boil. We finish Rye I.P.A. by dry-hopping it with Tettnang. Hops: Nugget, Tettnanger. Malts : Pale, Black

tap at the brewpub - Pours a burnt orange color with a fairly mild aroma that includes a touch of citrus. The rye grain is readily apparent in the moderately bitter flavor. It’s medium bodied and pretty good, but doesn’t work as well for me as the Rooftop IPA.

Tap. Cherry, apple and rye malt aroma. Amber color with small head. Light fruit, rye and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Good - rye a bit subdued.
