Bière de Mars, French for "March beer," is a Farmhouse-style ale traditionally brewed by the farmers of northern France in late winter and early spring. Light and effervescent, it’s intended to be enjoyed fresh and young. Brewed with malt, oats and wheat, lightly hopped, and fermented with traditional French Saison yeast, Bière de Mars is ethereal orange in color, light and playful on the tongue with notes of citrus and pepper. Nicely balanced with a tart and dry finish, this is a perfect beer for sipping as the days grow longer and spring fills the air.

tap at the brewpub - Pours clear honey colored with a mild aroma of yeast and bananas. It tastes sweet and a little fruity with a bit of hops in the finish. It’s slightly dry and not bad overall, but I’m not impressed.
