Proudly named after the P-47 bombers once manufactured right here in Evansville, this Amber Ale has been on tap here for over two decades. Generous portions of Caramel and Chocolate malt color and flavor this timeless Amber Ale, while German noble hops and American yeas finish off this special recipe, on tap all year

On tap at Turoni's, pours a clear deep copper amber with a beige head. Aroma brings out toasted bready malt, with very low hops. Flavour is subdued, with toasted malt and nonexistent hops. Nothing going on here. Meh.

tap at the brewpub - Pours amber and has a mild caramel malt aroma. It tastes of caramel malt and mild hops bitterness. Light to medium bodied, some light hops lingers in the finish. Decent.

Tap. Caramel and light herbal aroma. Amber color with small head. Sweet caramel malt and lightly bitter grass hops flavor. Tasty - an easy drinking beer.
