Brewed in honor of the Tour De France, "Maillot Jaune" or "Yellow Jersey" is a French style Bier De Garde. Very crisp and hoppy, this golden yellow ale is just the ticket for cheering on the amazing athletes who compete in this grueling two week race and the chance to wear the Maillot Jaune.

On tap at HopCat. Poured deep gold with a thin white head, very pilsner like. Aroma had a touch of lemon with earthy notes as well as a grassy hops. Flavor began with a bit of ginger and developed an earthy grassy hop flavor with an undertone of bitter lemon. Beer went down surprisingly smooth.

On tap at Dusty’s Tap Room, Okemos. Murky medium orange body, thin off-white head. Grassy, herbal, citrusy nose. Oily body with bitter, grassy, herbal hops, yarrow, grain, and lemony tartness. The generous ABV lends a vinous character to the beer. Good bite.
