Since the first bottle rolled off the production line of Seychelles Breweries Ltd in June 1972, SeyBrew Lager has been the favourite beer of Seychelles. SeyBrew is brewed with the finest malt and hops imported from Europe, Australia and South Africa. SeyBrew is available in 280ml green glass bottles and draught at 4.9% alcohol by volume, which makes it just perfect for quenching your thirst in the warm sunny Seychelles. SeyBrew is an all occasion beer but exceptionally inviting at the end of a day's work. Bottles are available cold at all liquor-licensed stores, whereas Draught is limited to some selective but popular bars. SeyBrew was awarded a Gold Medal in Brussels in 1974 - just two years after its launch. It topped 500 competing beers to scoop that first international award early acclaim which was consolidated by winning a Silver Medal in Geneva in 1978 and a Gold Medal in Amsterdam in 1981.

Beers of the World country 166: Seychelles 🇸🇨
"The beer joins the list of African lagers that are clear golden in colour with a decent amount of foam on top when poured. The taste is also very similar to a lot of the other once I’ve tried. Crisp bitterness to start before some sweetness at the end. Slightly malty aftertaste." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingman, 19/10/23 and for Simon47574's sister initially (we used to drive each other in driving lessons 20 something years ago!). Pale golden blonde with a thin white cap formed of bubbles. Nose is pale malts, grains, light astringency, corn husk. Taste comprises herb, hedgerow, pale malts, grains, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable pale logger.

Bottle 28 cl. Light golden color, clear with good snow-white foam. Aroma: a light hop note, herbaceous spicy, some malt biscuits, slight sour and fruity (not very fresh). Taste: light, watery, pils malt with biscuits, slight sourness, a little grassy with spicy hops, mild bitterness.

THT. 🙏 Thanks Rasvan! Pale straw, thin white head. Sweet wet cardboard, and the beaches of somewhere exotic. Oh crappy country ticks, this is your taste. Quite a good one. Light sweet, soft and smooth. Soft carb. 🇸🇨 Seychellen +1!

Bottle at THT September. Clear light golden with white head. Massive skunk, gotta love these green bottles. Also cardboard, and some sugary malts. Light bodied. Damn this is bad, though maybe also old.
